George Clark, 32, of Barnhill Road, Dumfries, served as a sniper in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan before ritiring from the British Army in February 2010 after a 10-year stint.
Since then he has been putting members of his classes through their paces in his military style martial arts training at Heathhall Community Centre.
