BMMA ACADEMY KIDSGROVE

I started martial arts when I was 4 years old in Aviemore, Scotland. I entered my first local competition when I was around 6. Once I was around 11, I started to travel more around Britain and Europe to compete.

 

I have represented Scotland at 3 WMKF World championships, twice in Sicily and once in Malta. My first time at the championships was in 2011 where I placed 3rd. Then in 2015, I won then men’s -60 and team event aged 16, while also placing 2nd in the men’s -65. 

 

I first achieved my blackbelt September 25th 2010 when I was 11 years old, after years of hard work and dedication to the sport. At the time I was training with Sansum Blackbelt Academy under Bryan Cameron. Then in 2017 I passed my Second Dan with Sansum Blackbelt Academy again. 

Teaching Experience – Since I was young I was always interested in assisting in classes and helping out as much as I could. In 2016 having just graduated from high school ,I took over as head instructor at my local academy. Then in 2018 I opened up my very own school called Highland Kickboxing Academy based in Aviemore, the centre of the Badenoch and Strathspey area. 

 

In 2018 Team SAS and WAKO GB coach Tony Anderton selected me to represent the world renowned Team SAS Kickboxing Team. I relocated from Scotland to England October 2020 to further my development as a coach and an athlete. I gained place on WAKO Team GB Kickboxing squad in 2021 and Represented Wako GB in 2021 in Venice at the WAKO World Championships.
