Lessons taught

Little Soldiers: Ages 4-7

Our Little Soldiers classes are designed to improve your child's physical and mental attributes. These animated, challenging classes will help to improve fitness and self-confidence, moving our young students out of their comfort zone one step at a time. We will also introduce the military values of discipline, self-control and respect, helping your child understand what it means to be a Little Soldier.

Lesson prices: £6.50 per class

Cadets: Ages 7-12

Our Cadets classes will help your 7-12 year old stay safe. Covering stranger danger, non-violent conflict avoidance and how to avoid dangerous situations, along with martial arts skills and techniques, our Cadet courses help improve confidence and fitness. What's more, we'll also improve your child's discipline, teamwork, leadership skills and public speaking – helping them become a more well-rounded, confident young person.

Lesson prices: £6.50 per class

Adults: Ages 12+

Our kickboxing, martial arts and military-style fitness classes are run by highly-motivated ex-military instructors who'll help you get the most out of every class. From basic fitness and goal setting, to advanced skills and street safety, our classes will teach you new skills while reducing and relieving stress. Plus, our rigorous workout sessions will ensure that you leave feeling better about yourself and ready to face all the challenges life can throw at you.

Lesson prices: £6.50 per class

Jamie Roach

 Jamie joined the Junior Royal Engineers straight from school at the age of 16, spent four years in British Army on the Rhine – Germany.

He volunteered for and passed the arduous All Arms Commando Course at the age of 22 years old, one of only 17 to pass the course at the first attempt out of an original 60 students, at Commando training centre, Lympstone, Devon.

On completion of his training he was drafted to 59 Independent Commando Squadron Royal Engineers, operating with 3 Commando brigade for 8 years. He made a number of trips to Norway and became a military ski instructor & Cold weather warfare instructor, teaching other members of the unit how to live, fight, survive and operate effectively in arctic conditions.

He left in September 2000, 5 years as a ski instructor teaching all ages and abilities to ski.

Jamie worked extensively as an outdoor activity instructor and Mountain leader in many varied and interesting areas of the U.K and Spent 8 years working in the education sector, in both secondary schools and further education establishments; gained Certificate in education - level 5; Most recently teaching students who have a wish to one day join a Military or Emergency service.

Still practicing martial arts – Kickboxing, boxing, & self defence techniques – completed BMMA L2 martial arts instructor course.
